REVIEW: Michael Pinckney’s “THE TRADE” Sheds Light on Human Trafficking

Filmmaker Michael Pinckney, affectionately known as ‘Boogie’ to
most aims to tell the stories of these victims in “The Trade,” a new
television pilot, he is shopping around to the networks and cable television
through his production company Black Noise Media.  

The pilot itself is as dark as its subject matter, focusing
specifically on child trafficking.

Broadway Actress Juliette Fairley has been tapped to star in Colors of Love, a tv series directed by Michael Pinckney. Fairley plays Mrs. Blackman in the episodic, which is about the trials and tribulations of four couples as they progress through various stages in their relationships.

Tupac Shakur was murdered on a busy Las Vegas strip. Biggie Smalls was killed in a Los Angeles drive-by shooting. Jam Master Jay was shot dead in the head in a Queens recording studio. All of these high-profile murder cases remain unsolved, which is what Michael Pinckney's feature film "You're Nobody 'Til Somebody Kills You" is about. Executive produced by Spike Lee, the film centers around two New York City homicide detectives on the hunt for a serial killer who has an appetite for murdering American hip-hop's biggest stars.
